Join us for an inspiring four-day journey into the world of printmaking, art history, and creative expression. Designed for children aged 11–14, t, explore iconic artworks, and earn a nationally recognized Bronze Arts Award qualification.
Through studio practice, museum visits, and personal projects, participants will gain new creative skills, build confidence, and deepen their understanding of the visual arts. Ideal for young people passionate about art or looking to build their creative portfolio.
🗓 Programme Overview
Day 1 – In the Studio:
10:00–10:30 | Introduction to the Bronze Arts Award
10:30–13:00 | RPG session 1. Students are given they characters to explore. Create a portrait of the character. Basics of the character creation
13:00–14:30 | Lunch Break
14:30–16:00 | Creating a map of the imaginary world. Collective drawing excercise
Day 2 – Museum Visit & Nature Studies
10:30–13:00 | Research Trip to the British Museum – Discovering the Art of Ancient Greece
13:00–16:00 | Lunch and RPG session in the park
Day 3 – Reflecting & Presenting
10:00–10:30 | Group Discussion: Museum Visit
10:30–12:00 | Reflective Writing on Your Visit (Arts Award Part B)
12:00 -13 00 How we can reinterpret Greek myths. Using sketches and photographs from the museum create an artwork inspired by the Greek myths and Odyssey
13 00 -13 30 Lunch break
13 30- 14 30 Continue working on your artwork
14 30 - 15 30 RPG session 2
15 30 - 16 00 Creatures, Monsters and Underworld. From darkness to light. Working with a liquid charcoal or ink washes, students will explore some of the ideas behind Greek myths.
Day 4
10 00–12:00 | Presentations: Your Artistic Inspiration (Arts Award Part C)
12 00 -13 00 Review of the presentation
13:00–13:30 | Lunch Break
13.30- 15.30 Skill Share Workshop (Arts Award Part D). Writing up your arts awards

Workshop Facilitator:
This workshop will be led by Natalja Vikulina, an accomplished artist and arts educator wit ten years of teaching experience. Natalja works across a variety of disciplines in visual art, combining “traditional mediums” (such as drawing, printmaking) with screen-based artistic practices (moving image, animation, VR).Natalja is actively exhibiting her work both in the UK (Centrala Gallery, Birmingham; London Design Festival; Multimedia Anthropology Lab, London; Willesden Gallery, London) and internationally (Philosophicum, Basel; National Centre for Contemporary Art, Nizhny Novgorod; Museum of Public Sculpture, St Petersburg; Shyryaevo Biennial of Contemporary Art, Samara; Baltic Nights International Forum, Riga).
Currently an artist in residence at the Cambridge School of Art, Natalja holds an MPhil from the Royal College of Art. With her extensive experience and passion for teaching, Natalja brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to this workshop.

- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund (minus booking fee).
- Cancellations made between 7 and 2 days before the course start date are eligible for a 70% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 2 days before the course begins are non-refundable, as materials and staffing will already be arranged.
In the event of an emergency or exceptional circumstances, please get in touch with us directly. These situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and while we cannot guarantee a refund, we will do our best to accommodate you — whether through a partial refund or credit towards a future course.
What is Arts Award Bronze
Bronze Arts Award is designed for ages 11 to 14 and is open to anyone aged 11 to 25.
It's a Level 1 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
